Reclaimed Yorkshire Flagstone
We regularly receive consignments of quality authentic York Flagstone directly from Yorkshire.
The stone is full of character and each stone has a natural riven face and edge. Combine that with years of footfall and exposure to the all the varied elements that Britain can offer ensures that each flag is unique in colour, texture and size.
We always ensure we have a plentiful stock of all grades of flag.
Currently five grades of Yorkshire flag are available:
Premium / Cathedral Grade
The very best Yorkstone. Highly sought after, thin and
beautifully smooth. Best suited for use internally.
Grade AA An excellent quality Yorkstone. A smooth to lightly riven surface with natural fettled edges and an even thickness of between 50 – 75mm.
Grade A Another fine stone very similar to grade AA but with a few sawn edges and up to 100mm thick.
Grade B With a slightly more riven surface, this stone is full of character. A thicker stone of between 125mm and 155mm.
Rossendale The same thickness as Grade A but with a heavy riven finish, a very rustic and beautifully traditional Yorkstone.
Reclaimed Yorkshire Kerbstones
New! Introducing Longmoor, sawn grey Yorkstone flagstone. This prestigious stone has an extremely durable quality that is the hallmark of natural Yorkstone. It is predominantly a beautiful blue-grey with varying amounts of natural buff tones to give the wonderful pattern that only Yorkstone can give. Longmoor is cut to 600mm wide in random lengths and at 50mm thick it gives a unique stylish feel of permanence to every project.
Ajeer always have plentiful stocks of old and new flagstone, crazy paving, rockery and walling stone. There is such a large multitude of stone types and variations that along with those listed below we have a constant turnover of various other types of stone. If you are looking for something that is not listed please contact us. Please note that due to the wide variations in texture, colour etc. that occur in natural stone we do prefer our customers to view the products personally.
